All Siemens Gas Hobs have a flame failure safety device fitted to each individual burner. Should the flame be extinguished for any reason, the thermostatic control senses that drop in temperature and shuts the gas flow to the individual burner. Ignition is achieved via the control dials – simply push and turn; no need to press separate ignition buttons.
